Subject What is the solubility of PNA in water ?
Content

PNA solubility is dependent on the sequence and size. Crude PNAs tend to be less soluble than the HPLC purified product. Longer PNAs are less soluble than shorter ones, but the addition of lysine residues or other solubility enhancing molecules will increase the solubility. PNAs have been used successfully at micromolar to millimolar concentrations.
