Subject In what buffers are PNAs soluble?
Content

PNAs are soluble in most buffers and will typically not precipitate by the addition of DMF or Acetonitrile. The purification of PNA is accomplished by reversed phase HPLC with a water/acetonitrile gradient buffered with a small amount (0.1%) of TFA. This means that purified fractions of PNA when dissolve in plain water will be acidic.
